Position Description:

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence at CGI. CGI is seeking an experienced Test Planner to support operations at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Test Planner provides technical oversight for test concept development to feasibility studies. Provides operational experience for identifying test scenarios, candidate test venues, test design, test products, and programming of resources to feasibility studies and quick reaction tests (QRTs). Reviews JT&E and QRT nominations for compliance to standards.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Develops test concept, test scenarios, test design, test products, and identifies candidate test venues and resource requirements for JT&E projects.

  • Conducts research and coordination, and writes program test plans and develops detailed test plans.

  • Develops, refines, and maintains project schedules, to include allocation of resources and identification of project tasks and milestones. Performs technical risk assessment, identifies test limitations, and assists in developing risk mitigation strategies for JT&E project planning.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

A Bachelor's Degree AND 8 years' related experience are required for this role.

Requires advanced knowledge and in]depth experience in test planning in the DoD operational testing and evaluation environment.

Must have a thorough understanding of the joint exercise process, the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), and Joint Test & Evaluation (JT&E) Program.

Experience observing and analyzing test and evaluation of operations to ensure conformity with military doctrine, policies, and procedures.

Must have skills to lead and manage integrated process teams.

Must be able to travel as needed.

A minimum Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

Desired qualifications:

Master's Degree in a technical field (systems, math, science, engineering, computer programming, or technical related field) is desired.

Joint duty or active participation in a joint duty assignment is a plus.
