Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for talented Helpdesk Technician to provide excellent systems, desktop, and network support for next generation digital media management systems. Work with other talented and creative professionals to support digital media systems that bring information and entertainment to all of America’s military personnel stationed around the world.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have an Active Secret clearance

Active Security+ CE Certification

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Under the direction of more experienced Helpdesk Technicians, assists users via phone and field support in a wide range of computer issues. Includes installing, upgrading and maintaining desktop and portable computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals. Updates tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system. Escalates issues for resolution when necessary

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides minor network cabling installations and modifications as required

Assists users via phone and field support in a wide range of computer issues

Provide friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable support to a global user community during standard business hours.

Support a wide range of hardware and software systems, desktops, peripherals.

Enters and updates tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system
