The Application Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining both new and existing applications. As part of an Account team, the developer will be responsible for configuration and extension of the application, troubleshooting issues, and tuning the application in order meet the clients performance requirements. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing, agile team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Support software development, build, and testing processes. Conducts testing to provide solution development activities to include solution development, capability configurations, and solution delivery into specific COTS applications and services.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Academic background in computer science, computer engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content
Experience with Java, C+ Experience with Oracle WebLogic and/or Oracle Tuxedo
Experience with Oracle database and strong SQL skills
Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to learn and understand the nature of business
Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Must be able to pass a CGI background check to start employment
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
