Working as a senior software developer, you will research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software in the domain of accounting and collection services.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The senior software developer will be primarily responsible for technical design and development of Java based synchronous and asynchronous Web Services. Including calling and hosting both WSDL/SOAP and Restful services. Hosted and called Web Services will need plugged into J2EE applications running on WebShpere application server. Additionally Java Spring Batch jobs will also need to make Web Service calls. Service bus development and setup is required between end points with queuing and resend ability. Including unit testing and conforming to coding standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The Senior Software developer must have a minimum of 15 years of technical design and development experience working on enterprise applications with the following qualifications:
Expert in Web Services (WSDL/SOAP and Restful).
Expert in Service Bus development.
Expert in J2EE development.
Expert in Application Servers (WebSphere).
Expert in relational database concepts, understanding, and development (SQL).
Involved with all phases of the SDLC.
Ability to work with functional team members to retrieve information required for technical design and development.
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Proficient in working on both Windows and Linux platforms.
Proficient with code repositories (Clear Case, GIT) and defect tracking tools (Clear Quest, JIRA).
Flexibility to adapt to working different timeframes to support working with a global team.
