Create and maintain technical product, system, architecture, and user documentation for technologies and tools used within HCAS program working closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of the content created and developed. Design, write, and edit technical and process documentation. Update user, system, training and other documentation after each product release. Design, develop, update and maintain contract deliverables. Support Training Specialist in the development, review and edit of training materials to include user manuals, briefing slides, and online content.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Plan, develop, organize, write and edit proposal content, operational procedures, and manuals.
Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and documentation requirements.
Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation.
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards.
Research, develop and document technical design, and content.
Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals.
Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content.
Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Strong MS Office performance.
Proven working experience in technical writing.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
Skilled at prioritization.
BA/BS degree preferred
8+ yrs experience preferred
