CGI is looking for a SAS Developer who has strong development experience on SAS Base and SAS EG platforms to join the team in Bloomfield, CT.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The candidate must be proficient in Base SAS, SAS Macros, and Proficient in writing Simple/Medium/Complex SQL queries.
Must have good experience in basic operating knowledge of UNIX. It would be good to have table Loads, Updates, Inserts DB2/ Teradata (We are not looking for Teradata/DBA but SQL developer/programmer)
Proficiency in data warehousing and data analysis is a mandatory skill. All applicants must be able to debug complicated codes, recommends the fixes required and fix also. Data Analysis is key to the role. They must be able to work independently with minimum guidance after Initial training on the environment. Good problem solving skill applied to debugging process flows and program error logs. Ability to work with business clients to understand and analyze business requirements is critical.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must have good communication skills.
Must have experience with the following:
Bachelors degree required, or advanced experience with the business.
