Position Description:

CGI, in its various configurations, has been providing quality, client-focused consulting solutions to public housing authorities for over 20 years. Our consulting group possesses an in-depth understanding of the affordable housing domain, including HCVP, LIHTC and REAC. During that time we have established a most-admired reputation among our clients—as well as our competitors. Our success can be attributed to the collaborative spirit that exists within CGI and the personal professional development that is constantly encouraged and supported. To continue that trend, we are seeking to add two additional consultants to our team. These positions will require extensive national travel, appealing to individuals who have an affinity for business travel. These positions will be based out the incumbents home-based office and can be located anywhere within the continental US.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Effectively track and monitor project work plans in progress as well as new projects

  • Prepare written procedures and train assigned members

  • Develop and maintain positive effective relationship with clients and team members

  • Ensures accurate tracking and timely submission of all deliverables

  • Ensure project meets all requirements and guidelines

  • Ensure costs are in line with budget

  • Lead and conduct weekly and as hoc meetings with client

  • Take appropriate actions to remedy issues and take proactive measures to prevent recurrences

  • Provide daily/weekly reports to superiors

  • Foster a positive, collaborative ethos within team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in affordable housing, covering any of the following HCVP,



  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Previous demonstrated ability to lead business efforts

  • Possess an understanding of operations involved in affordable housing

  • Ability to adapt to existing and new IT systems and applications

  • Minimum of HS degree; prefer bachelor degree
