Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our DOJ client, the Executive Office of Immigration Review (federal immigration Courts).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responding to all inquiries received by phone and e-mail (liaison to courts)

Processing all No-Show Notification memos including assessment of damages

Processing Suspension of Search (SOS) memos including assessment of damages

Processing Certification of Telephonic Interpretation (COTI) forms

Processing late interpreter notifications including assessment of deductions

Processing IHP hearing—assigned interpreter personal identification reports

Resolving all order discrepancies

Authorizing and monitoring all aspects of contract interpreter travel OR coordinating all aspects of in-person to scheduled telephonic (or VTC) conversion for orders having no local resources (during tight budgetary time)

Maintaining and updating the interpreter database

Resolving no-show disputes

Reviewing and processing all contract interpreter quality assurance concerns and requests for disqualifications and complaints

DQ-related Recording Evaluations

First Time Interpreter assignment recording evaluations

Daily monitoring of courts’ compliance with OCIJ interpreting ordering policies resulting in decreased interpreter costs for the agency

Ad hoc reports

Confirming contract interpreter orders received via ECIOS by submitting a daily report to the contractor to identify any discrepancies

Coordinate telephonic interpreter assignments with second contractor (LSA/InterpreTalk) when the primary contractor is unable to fulfill requests

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

High school Diploma

Exceptional communication and analytical skills

Ability to autonomously balance multiple projects simultaneously

Productive in a fast-pace environment
