Position Description:

How would you like an opportunity to work in a great team environment with a very good customer relationship? Put your years of experience into a future of excellence at CGI. CGI is seeking a Network Administrator II to support operations at our Goodfellow AFB, TX location.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Plans, coordinates, and installs network switch and cabling infrastructure.

Provide network administration and configuration of network switches, routers, wireless access points, and network security devices such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, etc.

Optimizes the functionality and performance of network systems and ensures availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of network infrastructure.

Performs testing, troubleshoots, and corrects problems relative to interoperability of network device components such as hardware, software, and applications programs to include security and software patches.

Develops and maintains network administration standard operating procedures, technical guides, and instructions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

A high school diploma/GED AND 4 years of directly related experience is required for this position.

Possess current and valid DOD 8570.1M IAT II certification (i.e. Security+)

Possession of an ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance is required to begin employment.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
