CGI is seeking a Financial Analyst for our Greenwood Village, CO office.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Ability to work through project financial close cycle monthly. Monthly close schedule inclusive of revenue recognition, accrual accounting, invoicing, billing, asset review, and prepaid account journal entries to tie out financials monthly. Monthly analysis of forecast and actuals with variance analysis. Ability to interact with a team of financial analysts and business management team. Monthly reconciliation of both WIP and AR and ability to report out and follow up on discrepancies. Ability to understand complex contracts and translate the requirements of these contracts into monthly financial forecasts. Work with Senior management to provide analysis and strategic partnership related to monthly forecasts/actuals and budgets. Provide support for pricing within your client area. Create ad hoc reports based on management requests. Comply with SOX and IFRS for all accounting practices. Management of complex deals, ability to work on special assignments and develop working knowledge at the BU level.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or the like and five years of experience. Also, strong Excel proficiency, organization, and communication skills.
