Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to support one of our clients in Kansas City, MO.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Software Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for defining the test tools and processes for improving the quality of software deliverables for our customer. This member will also lead a team of testers and regularly asses the quality of software deliverables to continuously improve the quality process.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in leading software quality assurance processes

  • Experience with Test Automation Tools

  • Experience with Performance Test Tools

  • Experience with Software Source Code Quality tools such as Sonar and CAST

  • Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Create project schedules to drive teams to meet dates and communicate progress to client on regular intervals

  • Extreme organization skills and the ability to plan ahead

  • Develop dashboard metrics to track quality results to improvement plans

  • Strong technical writer to document defined processes

  • Able to collaborate with clients, project managers and development teams to produce the high-quality work products


  • A Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
