Position Description:

CGI Federal provides business processing outsourcing and consulting services to Public Housing Authorities throughout the U.S. Presently, there is an opening in Oakland, CA for a Housing Consultant.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing work plans to ensure all project deliverables are met

  • Train and provide documented procedures for all team members

  • Provide weekly status report to client and management

  • Monitor project expenses to ensure cost containment

  • Conduct weekly meetings with clients and take corrective actions when indicated

  • Ensures high quality assurance level to minimize risk

  • Consistently achieve Client Satisfaction Surveys 9.5% or greater

  • Conduct business development tasks to increase contracting opportunities

  • Assist with other projects as assigned

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 5 years of working knowledge of Assisted/Affordable Housing

  • Possess demonstrated effective supervision and project management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to motivate teams

  • Must be proficient with MS Office and ability to quickly learn new programs

  • Knowledge of HUD HQS and SEMAP is strongly desired

  • Must possess a minimum of a HS degree; college is preferred

  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight, which might be up to 75-90%
