CGI Federal is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to manage the Kit Reclamation Operations: Manage the Kit Reclamation Operations that processes excess 6V COG material for reutilization and return to Navy Supply System stocks. Ensure that the Material Turned into Store (MTIS) credits are returned to NAVAIR lines of accounting. Procure and expedite Kit Material from both commercial and organic sources.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure Reclamation Inventory is reviewed for overage/obsolete material turned correctly into DRMS (Defense Reutilization Marketing System). Coordinate with Program Managers for disposition of their material.
Manage turn in of AVDLR material through ATAC utilizing ERMS( (Navy E retrograde Management System)
Manage inventories as batches of material going into Navy ERP.
Coordinate with Programs for reutilization of their material.
Coordinate with comptroller office to ensure credits are applied to proper/correct line of accounting.
Procure Kit Material in a cost-effective manner, in compliance with the FAR commercial laws and regulations.
Manage data entry for Navy ERP.
Manage all kit reclamation part receipt files and proof of delivery files, inventory records, and report compilations.
Manage the verification of parts against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing parts to prescribed storage locations per established procedures.
Manage storing, stacking, or palletizing parts in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials.
Manage receipt process for parts/stowage of material.
Manage the preparation of Navy MILSTRIP documents.
Manage the maintenance and preparation of MS Excel spreadsheets for material on hold from Program Managers for reutilizations.
Identify excess retrograde material and process through advanced traceability and Control (ATAC).
Manage the maintenance of Kit Reclamation receipt and shipment files.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university plus 6 years out of the last 10 years experience must be in acquisition of DoD weapon systems. Eight years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
Experience must include an understanding of Naval Aviation retrofit and MILSTRIP procedures.
Ability to successfully complete the CGI Federal Background Investigation.
Ability to successfully complete a Government Agency Background Investigation/Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
Understanding of Naval Aviation retrofit and MILSTRIP procedures.
Experienced working with MS Office, Outlook and Adobe PDF software programs.
Knowledge of Naval supply system procedures and submission of MILSTRIP.
Must be able to interact/correspond with Government Customers via phone, face-to-face.
