Position Description:

General responsibilities:

• Support an agile development project by working with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements and business processes

• Support backlog grooming and feature elaboration by understanding the business needs and acceptance criteria for each item in the product backlog to ensure team success for current and future sprint efforts

• Participate in activities to support sprint teams, including creating and reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, tests and scenarios, and other documents to support requirements and development

• Learn and use requirements & automation tools like FitNesse and DbFit for acceptance criteria and testing

• Participate in support activities for IV&V, Tier3 and environment maintenance

• Work individually and with cross-functional, self-organizing agile team(s) in a dynamic environment to support the software development process

• Work individually and with teams at all levels of an organization to obtain knowledge that facilitates problem resolution

• Support requirements management processes using the appropriate tools.

• Assure work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content by participating in the requirement and test case peer review process

• Maintain confidentially of information as specified by ManTech/Edaptive Information Security Department

• All other duties as assigned or directed

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Mandatory skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work well independently or in a team environment

• Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred skills:

• Leadership experience

• Experience with data or financial analysis

• Experience with speaking in public

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Degree: Bachelors Degree

• Field of Study: Computer Science/IFSM

o Will consider candidates with liberal arts background (English, Poli Sci, History, etc) as well as those with a more technical focus.

• 7 years experience

Candidate must be willing to work on site at the ManTech/Edaptive facility in Owings Mills, MD.
