CGI Federal is seeking a full-time laborer to provide grounds maintenance to the FBI Academy
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Loads and unloads trucks, and other conveyances;
Moves supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrows or hand trucks;
Stacks materials for storage or binning;
Collects refuse and salvageable materials;
Digs, fills, and tamps earth excavations;
Levels ground using pick, shovel, tamper and rake;
Shovels concrete and snow; cleans culverts and ditches; cuts tree and brush; operates power lawnmowers;
Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances;
Moves heavy pieces of automotive, medical engineering, and other types of machinery and equipment;
Spreads sand and salt on icy roads and walk-ways; and
Picks up leaves and trash.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 1 year of related experience in general labor, landscaping, construction or related expertise
Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Credit and Employment
Ability to successfully complete a Top Secret Government Agency Background Investigation/Security Clearance
Strong reading and communications skills and ability to print clearly
Physical strength/stamina to perform manual labor, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, lifting, etc. heavy items (40+ lbs)
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to work well with others
Valid Drivers License
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
