Position Description:

CGI Federal is currently seeking a Inventory Team Lead to support our upcoming federal project in Washington, DC. The Program will provide End User Support and strategic Division Level Support for the Technical Support Division for Federal agencies. These efforts will aid in providing overall project management support, coordination, and outreach/communication between the Technical Support Division (TSD) Division level management and TSD employees as well as other Client Technology Services (CTS) Divisions and Customers. The staff will effectively administer, manage, and perform duties and responsibilities as required by the Government.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Update the inventory database for any equipment serial number changes due to movement, deployment, or other equipment changes

• Update inventory records in the Remedy Asset Management Module for all hardware serviced or deployed and maintain the Government asset record on a re-occurring annual basis, per inventoried asset

• Provide equipment serial number changes, movement, disposal or change to the local Technical Representative, or inventory designee, for updating into inventory databases, I.E., Remedy

• Assist in preparing equipment for excess per OCIO and GSA requirements

• Assist the Government in receiving and receipting for equipment

• Assist in inventory queries as requested by the Customer. All inventory changes will correlate to a Remedy Change Request

• Track all incoming and outgoing PC hardware components in the Government Storage Facility. This includes all internal and external devices – disks, CD-ROMs, monitors, etc.

• Distribute and track all laptops, desktops, mobility tablets and peripherals

• Notify the Customer of discrepancies between the electronic inventory and physical inventory as soon as it is discovered

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• High School or Associate Degree

• 3+ years inventory management

• Ability to accurately gather and report inventory

• Microsoft Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Familiarity of Remedy is a plus

• Experience working in IT support federal contracting environment

• Physical requirement: Ability to stand and walk for long stretch of the working hours

• Good analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Strong communication skills

• Candidate must have an Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain
