CGI is looking for an IIS Engineer to join our team in Windsor, CT to service a Healthcare Client of ours.
Serves as the lead technical IIS consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions.
Supports the design, analysis, development and implementation of IIS Projects.
Provides infrastructure support for IIS from development through production for multiple versions
Works on installing, configuring and administering new and existing IIS in support of the project work.
Responsible for resolution of IIS web server problems and determination of root cause.
Automation of manual install tasks to increase efficiency in IIS builds.
Installing, configuring and supporting Web based business applications.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In depth experience with IIS installation, configuration, support, troubleshooting and administration IIS versions.
Experience in deploying, securing and monitoring of IIS applications.
Experience in migrating applications between different versions of IIS.
Proficient in SSL configuration and troubleshooting of SSL issues on IIS.
Knowledge/Experience of different web servers (IIS, jBoss and Websphere) script writing/editing desirable.
Knowledge in .NET architecture and ability to configure and debug
Understanding of networking concepts.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and performance tuning abilities.
Strong communication and customer support skills.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
