CGI Federal is seeking a Production Operations Lead to lead a team of 5-10 members who are provide O&M support to our federal law enforcement client.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
It is expected that the Production Operations Lead has a strong background in providing help desk support, leading teams, functional/business analysis, and requirements gathering. This role expects a certain degree of independent analysis, so self-motivation and the ability to drive and own tasks are preferred. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who can adapt to changing situations. You will also be working to develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the agencies legacy systems functionality and client business processes in order to address key requirements or user/client inquiries.
As a Team Lead, you will also be required to lead tasks, resources and meetings. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written are required, in addition to demonstrating the ability to take on and manage a variety of tasks at any given time.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Secret Security Clearance
A four year bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Computer Science/IT)
6+ years of experience supporting or equivalent (i.e.: SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle ERP)
3+ years prior experience leading and managing others
A solid understanding of all aspect of IT Operations.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as a team member
Experience with a Windows, Linux, Unix based systems required.
