Position Description:
Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a large and growing financial operations program within the Department of State? If so, we have the perfect role for you. We are looking for a Program Manager who can deliver consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in our client's financial operations as the organization grows. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for establishing a consultative mindset with your team to perform the work and help the client innovate. You will also oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of the program, ensuring that it meets the quality, budget, and schedule requirements. You will report directly to the Vice President of Management Consulting, and collaborate with other senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Some future duties and responsibilities for the Program Manager position are:
Developing and maintaining a strategic vision and roadmap for the financial operations program, aligning it with the client's mission, goals, and priorities.
Identifying and pursuing new opportunities for expanding the scope and impact of the program, such as introducing new technologies, processes, or services.
Establishing and fostering strong relationships with the client and other key stakeholders, such as vendors, contractors, auditors, and regulators.
Providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to the program team, ensuring their professional development and performance improvement.
Evaluating and reporting on the program's outcomes, achievements, and challenges, using data-driven metrics and indicators.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and internal policies, standards, and procedures.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in financial operations, management consulting, or a similar field.
Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and systems, including familiarity with federal financial regulations and policies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and influence decision-makers.
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage complex projects, and resolve issues creatively.
A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required
A master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Experience working with the Department of State.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $164,400 - $180,800.”
