Position Description:

Government Secure Solutions – CGI (GSSC), a wholly owned proxy company of CGI Federal, is seeking Red Team Assessors to join our Team in Arlington, Virginia. The Red Team Assessor will provide support to The Joint Service Provider (JSP) program Port Protocol Service Management (PPSM) Team. The JSP program provides a full range of information technology products, services, solutions and customer support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Joint Staff (JS), the Director of Administration (DA), the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and other various OSD offices to meet mission and business requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 3-5 years of experience with Cyber Red Team operations

• 3-5 years of experience performing network penetration testing

• Characterize the adversary’s cyber capabilities; research the structure, ideology, intentions, tactics, and capabilities of adversarial cyber organizations to develop threat characterization using a combination of both classified and unclassified sources

• Contribute constructively to cyber threat emulation. Identify information requirements, develop assessment cyber strategies and create collection plans, identify information sources, and develop and conduct research of available information in order to determine adversary cyber courses of action and relevant information requirements

• Adversarial and imaginative mindset

• Knowledge of malware packing and obfuscation techniques

• Familiarity with interpreting log output from networking devices, operating systems and infrastructure services

• Broaden the knowledge and lead other Red Team members how to use knowledge of adversaries Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) and past breaches to test IT and Cyber Security team operations

• Synthesize findings to support vulnerability identification, course of action development, protection studies, trend analyses, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies

• Experience with Netflow or PCAP analysis

• Experience with the incident response process, including detecting advanced adversaries, log analysis and malware triage

• Bachelor's degree with a technical major (Computer Science, Networking, Cyber Security, etc.)

• DoD 8570.01-M (DoD 8140) Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification required (Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security, GSEC)

• Computer Network Defense Service Provider (CNDSP) certification required (CEH, CISA, GSNA, GCIH, GCIA)

• An active DoD TS/SCI security clearance required
