We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Federal Contracts Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the management and administration of federal contracts. This role requires a deep understanding of federal contracting regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office with work performed at client site in Arlington, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice on federal contracting processes, including solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
• Develop and implement technical solutions for contract business use cases as part of a cross-functional team
• Develop and implement contract management strategies that align with the client's mission and objectives..
• Monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions, and identifying and resolving any issues.
• Stay current with federal contracting policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior contract analysts and consultants.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in federal contract management or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of federal contracting regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific supplements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex contractual documents.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar certification is a plus.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $209,100.00.
