Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for Technical Trainers with cybersecurity experience to join our winning team. You will work with a highly technical team focusing on integrating next generation cyber security technologies for a strategic federal customer. Activities include hands-on administration, implementation and configuration of security tools to enhance the risk posture of customer networks.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Support all levels of staff including peers, team members, management and system users outside of our direct client.

• Support test team and fielding team members on a technical basis to ensure that they provide correct solution to the operational users.

• Responsible for tracking and reporting software deficiencies identified by operational users according to the projects processes and procedures.

• Must be capable of translating operational requirements into detailed software/system requirements.

• Prepare training material and conduct unit level training

• Learn to train all system modules

• Travel when classes are scheduled out of town

• Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership

• Communicate training needs and available online resources

• Collaborate with team members new training strategies, initiatives, and materials

• Test and review created materials

• Conduct training through new materials either in a classroom or on-line

• Assist with coordination and monitoring class enrollment and schedules

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

• B.S Degree (Engineering discipline preferred)

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others

• Must be a self-starter which requires minimal supervision.

• Must be able and willing to travel, to include international travel (less than 25%)

• Requires a valid US tourist passport

• Must possess a US Secret clearance, per Federal stipulation

• Capability to communicate and develop briefing products in MS Office Suite of programs•
