Position Description:

Travel Programs, Policy and Operations support team member for a large, government 1,500+ travel user community in Arlington, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Involved in support of Travel System program activities, including working in coordination with Travel Policy leads to ensure all travel actions comply with associated internal control and travel policy requirements as established by the department and its components.

Manage and/or support the overall department Travel System programs working in coordination with Travel Policy leads to ensure all actions comply with associated internal control and travel policy requirements as established by the department and its components.

Likewise, manage and/or support all configuration management tasks; interface system configuration tasks, and change requests as necessitated by new travel requirements or updates. Additionally,

• Plan and oversee all testing associated with new Travel Program releases.

• Serve as a travel POC and liaison between travel related department and component teams

• Respond and provide all audit requests and related requests to appropriate department and/or component personnel timely

• Ensure all travel account profiles are configured and established to assure overall financial internal control and account management objectives that are in compliance with the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR)

• Create and/or enhance travel policies and procedures, including but not limited to step-by-steps/How-To guides, cheat sheets, etc.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:


• Experience with the government Federal Travel Regulation (FTR).

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience required.

• Ability to communicate well and effectively face-to-face, by phone and email with clients and colleagues


• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira

• Knowledge of Momentum ERP product or similar ERP product

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $52,400 - $100,900.
