Position Description:

The Jr. Real Estate Analyst position supports and provides administrative and functional support to FAA. The Jr. Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for providing support in the following areas: memorandums of agreement, land surveys, land appraisals, utility contract validation, utility contract transfers, lease automation tracking and official correspondence. Other duties include, but are not limited to, administrative functions, land survey review, proposal and quote requests, research, and facilitating projects between FAA and land survey providers.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Review, validate and prepare memorandums of agreement for FAA lease opportunities.

  • Review expiring lease information and submit lease review for Quality Assurance.

  • Prepare transmittal letters to Airport Authority.

  • Validate existing FAA installed and maintained on-airport facilities per airport layout plans.

  • Review land surveys, define facility site measurements, title documents and ownership.

  • Conduct research on potential surveyors.

  • Solicit quotes and prepare proposals for surveyor work.

  • Review and evaluate proposals.

  • Prepare funding requests.

  • Coordinate corrections with surveyor.

  • Assists property fair market appraisals. Determine the fair market value of property for lease.

  • Identify potential GSA property appraisers, solicit proposals, and review proposals.

  • Review utility contract files, conduct utility consumption usage assessments, analyze monthly consumption levels and review monthly service invoices, validate existing FAA utility service contracts.

  • Administrative functions include mailing correspondence, file documentation and lease file maintenance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years general business experience

  • Bachelors degree

  • Ability to research and analyze data

  • Customer service skills required

  • Research abilities

-Technical writing skills

  • Commercial or federal real estate management

  • Commercial or federal lease administration

  • Administrative functions and project management skills

  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

  • Commercial or federal real estate management, commercial or federal lease administration, commercial property management experience
