Position Description:

The Health and Compliance group at CGI Federal is looking for is seeking a Communications Specialist with proven experience who can be part of a team in a dynamic and changing environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage communications, training and awareness plan

  • Develop training material, outlines and course schedules

  • Develop/write communications content by working with SMEs to develop materials

  • Work with program management to deliver communications in accordance with agreed upon communications plan

  • Work with training team to ensure delivery of training and outreach programs

  • Help drive awareness and adoption of all new initiatives the team is working on

  • Develop newsletters, press releases, slide decks and other awareness materials in support of briefings, road shows, and other program activities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Candidates must be US citizens

  • 3+ years of related work experience in a similar role

  • Prior Project Coordinator or communication experience

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced skills with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook required

  • Bachelors Degree - preferably in Communications

Preferred qualifications

  • Agile experience

  • Content development lifecycle

  • Face-to-face training experience



  • Communication (Oral/Written)
