Position Description:

The policy advisor will advise the Government on possible creation of/enhancement to existing policies to improve/enhance information sharing across the Information Sharing Environment (ISE).

Your future duties and responsibilities:

o Review policy documents and provide substantive feedback, recommended enhancements, etc.

o Track and communicate policy updates to those supporting information sharing across the national security enterprise.

o Draft responses to media and executive and legislative branch inquiries.

o Draft position papers and power point briefings.

o Take meeting notes as required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

TS/ISSA clearance with polygraph required

Required senior-level qualifications:

 Seven (7) or more years of demonstrated experience and success in policy development, preferably relative to information sharing;

 Superior oral and written communication skills;

 Experience drafting national-level policies and responding to inquiries from the media and executive and legislative branches;

 Superior ability to interface with internal and external mission partners;

 Demonstrated expert ability to communicate and work closely with executive-level decision makers;

 Expert ability to conduct policy reviews in support of prioritizing budget guidance/alignment activities;

 Superior ability and demonstrated success drafting draft annual reports/ management reviews; and

 Expert ability to lead work groups
