Position Description:

CGI is looking for a seasoned, hands-on Guidewire Solution Architect with deep Property and Casualty Insurance industry knowledge and experience implementing Guidewire. Join our growing Guidewire team to deliver transformational projects to leading Insurance carriers in the US market!

The Guidewire Architect will oversee the implementation and integration of Guidewire Centers. Provide solutions and represent CGI in thought leadership activities with CGI prospects and the industry.

This role can be performed from Massachusetts/Rhode Island/New Hampshire

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Developing architectural solutions through technology proof of concepts (examples include integrations, distributor portals, and service integrations…)

Act as a Solution lead in responding to RFPs, pre-sales presentations/whiteboarding sessions, and driving strategic Guidewire initiatives.

Oversee the design and development in alignment with architectural guidelines and Guidewire best practices.

Lead system modernizations and transformations within large insurance carriers.

Provide Guidewire technical delivery leadership of global CGI GW teams.

Share CGI’s Guidewire thought leadership at conferences, blogs, and customer presentations.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

10+ years’ experience in the P&C industry

Guidewire certification(s) - ACE (preferred)

Prior experience in Guidewire Cloud for US-based P&C carriers (Auto and Homeowners a must).

Possess a strong functional knowledge of Guidewire Centers

Familiarity with Guidewire PC Edge

Strong experience in Guidewire APIs (Design and develop Guidewire integration components, including plug-ins, APIs, messaging, and supporting business rules).

In-depth knowledge of Guidewire software solutions and their best practices and standards for implementation.

Deep hands-on experience leading designs, configurations, integrations, upgrades, and optimizations of GW projects (implementations, upgrades, optimization, migration, and support).

Experienced in all aspects of software development lifecycle: Design, Development, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Deployment, Delivery and Configuration Management.

Provide estimations and cost-effective solutions.

Experience in successfully tuning GW centers and integrations (GW internal integrations and integrations outside of GW).

Skilled in documenting and presenting various architectural patterns.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Be a continuous learner to keep up to date with the industry.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $137,500 -$264,600.
