Position Description:

This position requires a strong developer with IIB as well as API Java expertise with 8+ years of experience. The candidate should be able to work independently and manage the work on his own. Should have experience working with Global teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

o Design and Develop services using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) V10 and IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise).

o Experience with migration of IIB services to ACE is a big plus.

o Design and develop applications using latest Java concepts in Spring Boot.

o Design and maintain APIs, services, and different payment sources

o Work with API developers across the teams to build new API features at large-scale

o Improve API standards and services

o Review design documents and provide feedback on approach and estimates

o Provide technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.

o Ensure that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.

o You will complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.

o You may approve technical solutions proposed by team members and elevate complex technical issues to IT experts, including architects.

o You will be expected to recommend development options, including design, build, and test.

o You will resolve technical problems discovered by the team and internal clients. Responsible for responding in a timely manner. Researching issues and performing root cause analysis.

• Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex software applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 8+ years of IBM IIB development experience.

• IBM ACE development experience is a plus.

• Should have a strong knowledge of web services SOAP, REST and related aspects like WSDL, schemas etc. Good understanding of WS security transport and message level. Good understanding of various application integration patterns.

• 3 + years of the Java and Spring framework (Spring MVC, Spring boot, Spring security)

• 3+ years of experience of Rest API development and maintenance using Spring Boot.

• 3+ years of relational database, specifically Oracle (SQL - PL/SQL) is a plus.

• Strong debugging skills by going through logs from OpenShift Console and Dynatrace.

• Strong knowledge on DevOps tools and Continuous Integration (CI) process

• Strong knowledge of REST service development.

• Experience in containerization and CaaS platforms (OpenShift experience highly desired)
