CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Database Developer to join our team. This role will support a new program for our client in the Intel Community. This will be a hybrid role with mostly remote delivery. Onsite delivery will be either Tyson’s Corner or client worksite in Chantilly.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis on a large Enterprise Cross Domain Service (ECDS) system.
• Experience with database performance tuning.
• Experience using triggers, stored procedures, and third‐party tools, such as Toad, Visio, SQL Loader for design and development.
• Familiarity with Financial Applications and Accounting Concepts.
• Experience using Agile Development methodology.
• Experience creating all software life cycle documentation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and identify issues /bugs found in application code.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph.
• Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• DoD 8570 Level II - Security+CE
• 5-7+ years of Database skills – experience creating and implementing logical and physical database design.
• Object oriented programming experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $139,700 - $202,554
