Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide senior level experience supporting requirements, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of large financial management/accounting systems similar in size, scope, and complexity to the systems.
In this role, you will serve as a technical leader with regard to contractual or technical matters, serves as technical lead for reports and reconciliation activities, financial systems analysis, overseas financial management help desk and other functional requirements requiring the technical knowledge of financial operations, accounting, automated financial management systems and leadership experience to guide contractor staff.
Manages and coordinates the implementation of systems applications through all phases of the system development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development and testing, conversion, installation and evaluation; and ensures conformance with work standards and quality.

Serves as a technical expert for Government financial information management.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Candidates that have experience with Government financial systems and accounting practices is preferable.
Desirable knowledge of government reporting processes and requirement .
A four-year degree from an accredited university or college and a Master's degree is preferable.
CPA certification or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) is highly desirable.
Experience in staffing and resource allocation for developing, implementing and supporting diverse tasks such as development and use of large complex systems.
Demonstrated technical, task leadership and communications skills.
Experience in analysis of automated financial management systems, with preference for those systems supporting government such as Global Financial Management Stems(GFMS), Regional Financial Management System (RFMS).
