Position Description:

CGI is currently looking for a highly skilled, motivated Technical Support Consultant to join our team in providing first-line helpdesk support. We run a fast-paced, team-oriented environment in a very collaborative and supportive atmosphere. As a team member, the responsibilities are to respond to and diagnose problems through a variety of platforms. Candidates should ideally possess a strong understanding of Active Directory, Windows operating systems, Windows updates, LAN/WAN, be able think outside the box to solve problems, independently research issues, and take pride in providing high-end customer service.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

-Provide first line technical support; answering support queries via phone and email

-Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues

-Independently research issues

-Log all issues and resolutions into the help desk tracking system

-Create and Update knowledgebase documentation

-Prioritize tasks to maximize client satisfaction

-Build trust with clients and team members through consistent results

-Able to think outside the box to solve problems

-Support clients in remote offices

-Participate in on-call support responsibilities for the unit outside of regular business hours

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

-Windows desktop operating systems (Win10 preferred)

-Minimum of 1 year of related experience.

-Associates degree, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of education

-General networking

-Desktop/Laptop Hardware

-Microsoft Office Productivity Software

-Basic Active Directory Functionality

-Well organized

-Must be able to lift 20 lbs

-Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator

-Microsoft Certified Professional

-SCCM

-Cisco Meraki

-Windows server operating systems

-Whatsup Gold Monitoring

-MAC operating systems

-VMware
