Position Description:

CGI is seeking a QA/Test Lead to join our team in Columbus, OH. The selected candidate will have experience in Medicaid Program, Policy and Operations, and primary responsibilities will include leading a team of testers in acceptance testing activities. Candidate is expected to have previous experience in leading test teams in the implementation of complex, large scale IT systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead test teams in completion of releases for large, complex IT projects

• Manage a team to ensure test scripts and test results are documented in accordance with project standards.

• Act as a QA lead to assist the client in defining testing and QA standards for ongoing releases.

• Work with the technical team to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.

• Mentor and coach junior members of the test team

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 5 years in Information Technology as a Test lead on large-scale, multi-vendor implementations

• Demonstrated experience in creating and executing test scripts, and communicating results to management

• Experience in managing and mentoring teams of more junior testers

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to gain consensus among multiple stakeholder groups

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related IT field or equivalent experience
