CGI is seeking a Mid-level Software Java Developer who will use your knowledge, skills, and writing abilities to solve organizational information challenges and will use your critical thinking skills to identify client requirements and translate those into detailed instructions for your development team to execute.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

This position is for a Mid-level Software Java Developer for a custom software system.

• Work in Agile Project Development.

• Design and implement Java application phases.

• Write code per app specifications.

• Test to ensure designs are in compliance with specifications

• System test application

• Analyze user requirements to determine how to translate into Java

• Make recommendations to existing job infrastructure.

• Continually engage in professional development.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Professional IT /certification, preferred.

• 5+ years of experience developing apps.

• Expert level in Java programming, Spring and Hibernate

• 2+ years of experience in SQLdatabase development.

• Ability to communicate effectively with a software development team on tight deadlines

• Experienced in developing web applications

• Able to work with minimal supervision and team oriented.

Due to the nature of this US Government contract, U.S. Citizenship is required.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is to $84,000– $146,900.
