Position Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer responsible for:

• Design and Programming in Java and JEE technologies.

• Full-stack software development experience with Java and JEE technologies with detailed understanding of user interface frameworks, back-end software architecture interactions.

• Working on Agile projects and strong knowledge of Agile terminology

• Designing, creating, and implementing Java-based applications.

• Identify and analyze user requirements

• Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle

• Interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications.

• Determining application functions and building objectives with the team.

• Ensuring that written code falls in line with the project objectives.

• Problem solving with other team members in the project.

• Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications.

• Drafting detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed.

• Participating in group meetings to discuss projects and objectives.

• Assisting other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding.

• Meeting deadlines on fast-paced deliverables.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong Interpersonal communication skills & ability to work independently as well as in a group.

• Motivated focused team player with strong problem solving and analytical skills. Generate new ideas and quickly learn new technologies to get the work done.

• Experience with Core Java concepts such as Serialization, IO, Multithreading, Collections, Concurrency and Exception Handling.

• Hands on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying applications using J2EE technologies including JSP, Servlets, EJB, JSTL, Spring, AJAX, JDBC, JNDI, Java Beans, Hibernate, Web Services and RDBMS.

• Very good understanding of Model View Controller (MVC), Client Server, Multi-tier architectures, Session Façade and Service Locator.

• Expertise in web development using HTML5, DHTML, CSS3, Java Script, XSL, XSLT, and XML (SAX, DOM, JAXP, JAXB).

• Good hands-on experience in consuming as well as developing API for REST based Web services to integrate third party functional modules into the core application.

• Good experience in Concentration on building JAVA/J2EE and Business Process Management (BPM) business solutions from the business need and solutions aspect, in contrast to the product line and well experienced in managing end-to-end project life cycle.

• Creation of automated BPMN workflows as per business requirements in Camunda using Camunda Modeler, also implementing workflow backend business logic in Camunda listeners.

• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing Model View Controller (MVC2) using Spring and Hibernate framework.

• Using microservice architecture, with Spring Boot based services interacting through a combination of REST endpoints.

• Strong knowledge on Hibernate and in using Hibernate Connection Pooling, HQL, Collections, Hibernate Caching, Hibernate Transactions.

• Experience on working with Hibernate for mapping the java objects to relational database and SQL queries to fetch the data, insert, delete, and update the data from the database.

• Experience in Database programming using Oracle and MySQL.

• Good experience in writing SQL Queries, PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Triggers and Cursors.

• Experience using JIRA for bug tracking and issue tracking

• Good hands-on experience in consuming as well as developing API for REST based Web services to integrate third party functional modules into the core application.

• Experience in using external apps like Junit with Mockito/Power Mock, EasyMock.

• Expertise in build automation tools like Maven and Ant.

• Quick Learner and adaptable to working environment.

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $76,000-$85,000*

Est. Hourly Range (Colorado Only): $60-64/hr*
