Position Description:

Corporate role designing and establishing Global Security investigations program including but not limited to data breach/leak, insider-enabled ransomware, workplace violence, and IP loss for an internationally dispersed company. This is a strategic role that’s responsible for collaborating with Strategic Business Units, Global Security Shared Services, Legal, Ethics, HR and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment, operational standards, program effectiveness and cost efficiency.

This role can be located at any CGI office in the U.S.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with global and BU stakeholders (HR, Legal, Privacy, GSOC) to implement a strategy and roadmap for conducting and managing security investigations in manner which promotes effectiveness, standardization and optimizes enterprise-wise spend

• Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide investigations program including policy, working group protocols, and operational controls required by a global organization as an element of the broader insider risk management program

• Experience in assessing, analyzing and resolving vague allegations and distilling findings to a variety of audiences

• Experience working with minimal supervision to multitask, manage workload and bandwidth across the team, and support emerging priorities

• Demonstrate strong threat management/investigation underpinning as well as possessing sound judgment and ability to prioritize tasks in a rapid environment, to mitigate risk to company/clients

• Provide mentorship and guidance, collaborate with Security Business Partners on strategies for executing goals, measuring progress and sharing results

• Lead complex and sensitive investigations and ensure application of standards and protocols

• Integrate threat management principles including industry standards, methodologies, tools and risk management plans

• Follow company procedures and processes as it relates to Global Security best practices and handling of confidential information

• Integrate case management tools and other technologies relevant to conduct of investigations

• Mentor and train stakeholders to ensure understanding program requirements, completion of gap assessments and execution of implementation plans

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10+ years of experience involving counterintelligence/insider threat investigations, technical investigations, and/or intellectual property investigations.

• 10+ years of experience training, mentoring, coaching junior investigators in investigative activities

• International experience and/or multi-lingual.

• Relevant certifications strongly preferred:

  • Wicklander-Zulawski

  • Reid and Associates

  • FLETC

Skill set - Years of experience - Proficiency level

Criminal Investigations - 7-10 yrs - Expert

Insider Risk/Threat - 5-7 yrs - Expert

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required

• Strategic thinker capable of tackling complex problems and influencing risk-based decision-making

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a complex multi-national environment

• Excellent analytical, oral/written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively collaborate and manage relationships with global partners and varying levels of management • Ability to communicate security and business risk to a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and utilize sound judgment

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $135,000-$180,000*

Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
