Position Description:

As a Marketing Business Partner to our Federal Government business units, you will help drive growth of our business through a combination of marketing, communications and business development support programs. With expertise in the U.S. Federal Government, you communicate CGI’s key value propositions in a way that resonates with the unique needs of this market.

This position can be located in our Lafayette, LA or Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Translate business priorities into an effective marketing strategy and plan

• Conduct relevant industry and market research, including support for our voice of the client program

• Support the promotion of key value propositions, positioning CGI uniquely in the market

• Envision, design, and support execution of integrated marketing campaigns to support the marketing plan

• Support impactful client interactions, including executive meetings, industry events and client conferences

• Help drive growth in our strategic accounts through account-based and deal-based marketing tactics

• Design and create marketing collateral, particularly thought leadership and digital content

• Work closely with Government Relations and Analyst Relations to influence key external stakeholders

• Serve as key advisor to business unit leadership on marketing and communications strategies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You are a well-rounded marketing professional with experience across many disciplines, including marketing strategy, executive presence, hands-on implementation, and an ability to get things done internally through influence.

• 10+ years experience working in Marketing, consulting, and/or business development disciplines, preferably in an IT or professional services company

• A passion for and strong understanding of the U.S. Federal Government

• Proven leadership in running successful, integrated marketing campaigns

• Strong verbal and written communications, including the ability to write and present to executive audiences

• Past experience producing high-impact content (white papers, blogs, video, etc.)

• An ability to be highly collaborative, and work with a variety of people at all levels

• Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts

• Flexibility to travel, as needed

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $122,200.00 - $264,600.00.
