Position Description:

CGI will provide services tied to establishing an Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) and an Integrated Release Planning Process for an end client’s IT organization. This will include prioritizing tasks for highest impact on IT delivery, and helping to define and implement a release-focused Operating Model with formalized processes to support high-quality, consistent performance.

We anticipate a five-person team with two full-time leads and two full-time support analysts, along with part-time oversight and supervision from a CMMI-certified Lead Appraiser. The two support roles will work at the direction of CGI’s Quality Metrics Lead and PMO Lead in support of metrics and reporting and Project Management process definition and documentation. This may include support for population of standard dashboards and reports, as well as analysis of trends at multiple levels.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Assist in the definition and documentation of processes for:

Program Intake Management, Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Quality Management, Contract Scope and Change Management, Defect Management and Prevention, Communications Management, Reporting and Metrics, and Training Skills Enablement.

This includes helping to train and orient end users on new processes and procedures. It also entails information-gathering on key projects and programs underway, including direct interaction with end-client resources for status and other details.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Ability to work independently and with acute attention to detail

• Exceptional commitment to client outcomes

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Direct experience working in a PMO and/or Quality Program implementation

• Knowledge of project management tools

• A strong understanding of the fundamentals of Project Management (e.g., PMI principles)

• Broad exposure to all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including release planning, work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones and metrics

• Direct engagement in Agile-based initiatives

• Prior exposure to or participation in audits of internal process adherence

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Prior exposure to Federal programs involving the Department of Defense or other agencies

• PMP certification

• Prior participation in CMMI audits and remediation
