Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Clearance Program Coordinator to support our DHS CDM DEFEND program. You will support the CDM DEFEND C and F programs, which are tasked with implementing a proactive risk management solution to enhance our customer’s cyber defense posture. You will collaborate daily with program staff, senior program management and the government COR. You will be responsible for collecting, submitting, tracking and reporting status of all project members collateral level security clearances, Public Trust Entry on Duty (EOD) clearances and Federal Agency Visit Access Requests (VARs). You will support the development of metrics, reports and briefing slides as well as provide verbal status updates during meetings with the client.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of the PMO while managing the submission of personnel security clearances and DHS EOD/VAR requests for the DEFEND C and DEFEND F PMOs.

• Review, track and monitor security clearance and EOD processing documentation and activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions.

• Prepare, process and/or review security forms for accuracy and submit to COR for processing. Follow up on all submissions in a timely and consistent manner.

• Advise and train staff members throughout the processing of their security clearance and/or EOD process.

• Ensure eQIP is submitted, PIV cards and accounts obtained, NDAs are signed and orientation and training is attended to in a timely manner.

• Identify process improvements, establish acceptable timelines and maintain current security tracking workbooks, policies and procedures for the programs.

• Follow and enforce both CGI Federal and DHS security policies, processes and mandatory training compliance.

• Provide welcome instructions to new hires and assist with onboarding activities.

• Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the PMO Leads and/or the Government Security Representative.

• Provide input to status reports and create accurate reporting deliverables.

• Provide knowledge and experience in identifying trends and risks and provide insight to the Deputy Project Manager and Project Manager to manage the CDM DEFEND projects from staffing suitability perspective.

• Support the review and development of contractual documentation and deliverables.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of experience. Four additional years of relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.

• Understanding of e-QIP system, EOD/clearance record maintenance and DOD and Department of Homeland Security clearance requirements.

• Experience in providing detailed analysis and reporting with advice to senior level leaders within the government and/or senior company leaders.

• Possession of excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing a workload and multi-tasking while paying strict attention to detail.

• At least intermediate level experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

• Self-motivator with ability to work as part of a team or independently with little supervision or direction.

Desired Qualifications:

• Writing and quality control standards, particularly of formal and contractual deliverables.

• Possesses and has applied expertise on complex work assignments in matrixed organizations.

• Understanding of the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM).

• Understanding of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and/or OPMs Central Verification System (CVS).

• Advanced level experience with Microsoft Excel and intermediate experience with SharePoint and PowerPoint applications.
