Position Description:

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow Engineer. You will be part of a team of excellence securing the government’s Domain Name Services (DNS) with the most cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for an Engineer to strategize, design, implement and test ServiceNow work flows and other services in MS Azure for a policy-implementing protective DNS recursive resolver service to minimize the effects of malicious activities while enhancing insight into these cyber threats. You will work closely with a variety of agency stakeholders, supporting their mission, priorities and requirements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Reconfigure the out-of-the-box or author new workflows and apply customization as required.

• Integrate ServiceNow with other external systems to support security and workflow related requirements.

• Participate in internal and external client meetings to identify and refine requirements.

• Rapidly design and develop Proof of Concepts to demonstrate ServiceNow solutions.

• Customize the look and feel of the ServiceNow solutions to match to the customer’s UI style requirements.

• Interact with others in the team including the Testers, Technical Lead and the Solution Architect to learn the complex DNS Resolver solution and its components in order to contribute to the overall implementation of the solution positively.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required. In addition, candidates may need to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience developing web-based applications.

• 3+ years of Hands-on experience and familiarity with the ServiceNow WorkFlow module configuration, implementation and customizations in Java or other programming languages.

• Experience with MS Azure, Java, JavaScript, CSS, AngularJS and HTML5.

• Proven experience in developing, troubleshooting and remediating ServiceNow issues.

• A passionate learner with interests to explore in technical areas beyond the service now areas.

Desired Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

• Experience developing effective mobile-friendly websites.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow integration with OKTA.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
