Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst II to assist DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review-Board of Immigration in Falls Church, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Conducts initial fact gathering, individually or in conjunction with senior management analyst(s). Reviews routine and repetitive processes and conducts surveys and limited studies to resolve issues or operational problems in the functional areas under the contract. Assists in conducting operations cost-versus- benefit analysis projects. As assigned, conducts quality control reviews of services provided. Develops and implements administrative controls as needed, and prepares various reports pertaining to such subjects as productivity trends, mail volumes, and operating costs.

• Assists BIA transcription unit with vendor management and cost analysis

• Compiles case load statics and other data associated with unit performance in consultation with or on behalf of the client

• Contacts vendors to resolve identified discrepancies as directed

• Provides budget forecasting and associated data/graphics upon request

• Utilizes vendor management and case tracking databases to conduct queries

• Works with government staff to process and review invoices from multiple vendors on both transcription and certification contracts

• Assists BIA’s Clerk with specialized projects to improve efficiency of overall operation as assigned

• Compiles case load statics and other data associated with performance in consultation with or on behalf of the client

• Provides findings and associated data/graphics upon request to clerk or assigned personnel

• Assists with preliminary review for administrative adjudication of cases

• Utilizes case management system to conduct queries

• Must have supervisory experience, and excellent knowledge of basic fact-gathering, interview, and research methodology.

• Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills and the ability to work independently and as a team member. Experience with various software is essential, i.e., Windows XP, WordPerfect, MS Word, Lotus 1-2-3, Excel, and Quattro Pro.

• Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include: 50 State Education and Employment checks; additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records check may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship and an ability to obtain an MRPT clearance is required.

Hourly Rate: $28.79/hour

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
