Position Description:

CGI Federal has a great opportunity for Human Resources (HR) Administrator to join our team at our Fairfax, Virginia headquarters. He/she is responsible for providing support to Federal HR teams across the U.S.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

-Onboarding: Coordinate background logistics of new hire orientation, including creating facilitator schedule. This role will be the key contact for new hire questions and will assist new members with policy and procedural questions, share best practices and process new hire HR documentation.

-Conduct exit interviews for departing members.

-Reporting & Support: Provide support to HR Business Partners and HR Directors in all aspects of HR, including member support, assisting management in special requests, maintenance of

employee relations documentation, and reporting of HR Metrics. HR Metrics and transactions will include, but not be limited to, anniversary reporting and program, transfers, performance management system and reporting. This role will learn all the HR systems and create reports that propel the business forward.

-Oversee special projects for CGI Federal members such as Take Your Child to Work Day, Workplace Violence Prevention Training and other special events.

-Perform administrative and office support. Duties may include supply ordering, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations with HR data, sorting mail and creating office visit requests.

-Other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Bachelor’s degree with HR Management concentration preferred

•1-2 years of work experience

•Ability to work with and coordinate across multiple teams and HR leaders

•Self-motivated and quick to learn new systems and processes

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Flexibility and ability to multi-task and be successful in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

•Ability to handle work of a confidential and complex nature requiring discretion, sound judgment, tact and diplomacy

•Experience with Microsoft suite is required. Experience with SharePoint is a plus
