CGI is looking for an Informatica Developer to join the team in Greenwood Village, CO.
The resource will work in a team with highly motivated team environment and with all the best practicess and processes followed to execute the project. A competative team environment which helps to build their career with Healthcare domain knowledge and with technical, analytical skills.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Overall 6 + years IT experience with minimum of 4+ years into developing data warehousing applications, familiarity with ETL architectures, leveraging multiple sources (including MDM), Oracle databases..
The candidate should have a deep understanding of SQL’s, database designs and implementation strategies, leveraging Oracle as a data warehouse.
Primary Skillset – Informatica Power center 9.1 or Informatica 10.1,, Rally, XML, CSV, HTML, Scripting language (Shell scripting or Unix scripting or Python), Oracle, SQL, TOAD, ESP scheduling, Materialized Views, Golden Gate. Nice to have - Quick Test Professional (QTP), HP Quality Center(QC), Healthcare experience, Hadoop, Mongo DB
Design and develop applications using Informatica applications
Experience in ETL/Data warehousing debugging and testing
Experience in information management, data warehousing and analytics technologies is required.
Ability to communicate and translate business needs into solutions; to communicate orally and in writing; to communicate effectively with developers, DBAs, information security, business analysts, project managers and different business areas; to provide training on new testing techniques and solving problems; and to establish and maintain an efficient delivery environment.
Experience with Test Driven Development [TDD] and Behavioral Driven Development [BDD], Specification by example (SBE)
Nice to have Healthcare knowledge
Should have good communication skills. Team Oriented and can work independently.
Should have good written and oral communication skills. Documenting the design specs, unit test results etc.
Experience in Pre-sales, Architecting proactive solutions, supporting clients with value-adds.
Responsible for leading the teams from end-to-end testing standpoint.
Nice to have experience in Manual and Automated Testing using Mercury/HP Quality center (QC), Quick Test Pro (QTP
Nice to have experience in creating and executing automated scripts
Nice to have experience on Tracking and Reporting of defects using Defect Tracking Tools such as Rally, HP Quality Center
Experience in using continuous integration using tools such as Jenkins & GIT to source control test assets and execute test runs
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Agile experience – at least 2+ years
Forward thinking, independent, creative, self-sufficient and go-getter; who can work with less documentation, has exposure testing complex multi-tiered integrated applications.
