Position Description:

RBX Configurator (RBX-C) supports the implementation of the pricing component of insurance products using Ratabase Product Suite implementation based on client-specific requirements. RBX-C uses the RBX Designer tool to implement rules related to: data extraction, mapping, transformation and integration.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze client’s documentation, identifying implications, issues, and risks.

• Develop and document system requirements and acceptance criteria to meet client business requirements.

• Collaborate with Ratabase Business and Technical Analyst to identify business and data transformation rules required to meet client business requirements.

• Interact with client to clarify business and transformation rules to meet business requirements – as needed.

• Use RBX visual mapping capability to map source to the RBX data model.

• Use RBX visual mapping capability to RBX data model to target destinations including Product Builder.

• Use RBX Designer to implement business rules for data extraction and data transformation to meet business requirements.

• Develop test plans & participate in the testing process to ensure high quality project deliverables.

• Review test cases created by the client.

• Interact with other team members and clients to ensure quality solution.

• Communicate with the client to track and debug testing issues, resolve them, and perform regression testing.

• Diagnose and resolve mapping and transformation rules that occur in deployment environments.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 3-5 years of experience in the following qualifications:

• Experience as a technical Business Analyst in the insurance industry

• Knowledge/experience with insurance data models (e.g. Acord, OMG, etc.)

• Experience with ETL tools and processes.

• Data mapping experience as a Business Analyst.

• Experience with writing simple scripting code (e.g. JavaScript, PowerShell)

• P&C Insurance data conversion experience

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required

• Helpful: Experience with Electronic Data Interchange platforms, enterprise service bus and/or modern integration platforms – e.g. MuleSoft, Boomi, JitterBit

• Experience with relational database query language (e.g. SQL)

• Experience with XML and related technologies (e.g. XSLT)

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $90k-$110k*
