Position Description:

As a key member of our diverse and high performing technology team, this position will be responsible for supporting IT infrastructure components including PCs, servers, storage, backup systems, network and other IT infrastructure applications such as VMware and AD Manager.

Candidates should have hands-on experience building, administering, and maintaining servers using best practices in a Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment. Ideal candidates will have experience working in a GxP manufacturing environment as well as setting up and maintaining development environments. The Manufacturing / Automation Support Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining networking equipment, implementing disaster recovery procedures and following ITIL based practices for change management, incident management, problem management, and configuration management.

Strong candidates will be able to demonstrate outstanding communication and customer service skills balanced with technical capabilities. Candidates for this role must feel comfortable communicating with teammates and the Intarcia community at all levels, work well under pressure, and have an aptitude for technology. Responsibilities:

•Maintains and supports IT infrastructure components including PCs, servers, storage, backup systems, network and other IT infrastructure applications such as VMware, AD Manager, etc.

•Build, administer and maintain servers using best practices in a Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment.

•Propose and implement systems enhancements that will improve the security, reliability and performance of the systems.

•Manage and support Active Directory: users, groups, and GPO.

•Maintain networking equipment including layer 2 and 3 switches and wireless infrastructure.

•Conducts technical infrastructure administration, planning activities, coordination and implementation of changes and supports operations.

•Will insure compliant system hardware and software security is maintained.

•Follows ITIL based practices for change management, incident management, problem management, configuration management, etc.

•Follows established backup and recovery procedures to ensure disaster recovery capability is maintained

Experience:

o Server/Sys Engineering experience (Windows servers, Patching experience)

o Setting up and maintaining Development Environments.

o Knowledge of HMI’s and Thin Clients

o Preferably someone that has worked in a GxP manufacturing environment.

Minimum Education Required:

•Relevant Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, Life Sciences, Engineering, Business; or equivalent experience.
