Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Vice President Consulting Services Metro Lead for our Houston metro market. The VP is responsible for the strategy, service delivery, business development, client relationships & satisfaction, revenue growth, member growth, and profitability across commercial clients. Essentially, leading and growing their own consulting business within this expanding market. We are seeking an individual looking for a long-term career opportunity to grow within a dynamic organization.

This position is located in our Houston, Texas, office. We are looking for a leader who can leverage existing relationships within the Houston market and is immersed in the community.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead a team of professionals – both direct reports and via US nearshore and offshore centers by providing mentorship and development opportunities. Foster a culture of inspiration, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, adaptability, and strategic thinking.

• Manage client satisfaction in partnership with account management teams.

• Lead account strategy, account planning, budget planning, and manage profitability of assigned accounts and engagements within the Houston Metropolitan geography.

• Lead proposals and evolve solution offerings, with overall accountability for winning competitive proposals for the sector.

• Overall accountability of service delivery to our clients; Strive to continually improve the quality-of-service delivery for your clients

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 15+ years of IT and Consulting Services experience; Advanced Degree a plus.

• Demonstrated performance owning a P&L and managing a team

• Extensive business development and strategy experience within organizations known for building high performing business development functions.

• Demonstrated history of winning large, competitive IT and Management consulting contracts.

• Solid relationships with key commercial contracting personnel in CGI’s core business lines.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build win-win partnerships within a firm/corporation, with a particular focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators.

• Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management.

• Ability to constructively influence and interact at the highest levels of the company and in target customer agencies.

• Excellent communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills are required as well as an ability to inspire confidence and provide business development leadership throughout the company.

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong organization change management skills related to software development and operational delivery

• Proven ability to work in a structured environment in a large professional services firm

• Familiarity with enterprise systems and system implementations/integrations (e.g., ERP, CRM, HR Systems, Planning systems)

• Knowledge of emerging technologies and their applicable use in the commercial environment

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $214,300- $396,500.
