Position Description:

As a Data Management Lead at CGI, you will be responsible for

Providing leadership and support in formulating and executing strategic enterprise-wide data and analytics solutions for complex financial / banking business problems involving batch & real-time data integration, advanced analytics and reporting solutions.

Negotiates solution trade-offs with Business & Technology stakeholders for using the right tools and datasets when and where they make sense and for creating a next-generation enterprise-wide data platform that helps to effectively analyze and process structured and unstructured data.

Helping transform the company into a business that truly differentiates and competes on analytics and insight.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Define information strategy practices, lead the creation and assure the ongoing relevance of the information strategy in association with the Senior most Business and IT Leaders.

• Design and implement data and analytics solutions to meet business needs.

• Develop enterprise data models supporting operational and analytical databases.

• Create frameworks to automate data reconciliation, data cleansing and data wrangling logics

• Architect and design Data Services in the cloud for products and services.

• Provide guidance to partner teams by establishing data dictionaries, data mapping and data patterns

• Manage & build a team of Analytics solutions architects and consultants.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to shape the success of Big Data projects.

• Negotiate scope, budget and quality-based trade-offs with stakeholders.

• Evaluate and select the appropriate technology for Machine Learning.

• Improve the data quality framework.

• Provide guidance to data engineering team.

• Coordinate with application, infrastructure & security solution architects.

• Provide hands-on guidance and oversight on all aspects of information solution delivery.

• Communicate complex technical information to all stakeholders of the project, including those who do not have a technical background and capture non-functional requirements

• Use industry tools such as Alteryx and Power BI to generate metrics and develop dashboards for insights and data visualization

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience designing, reviewing, implementing and optimizing data transformation processes.

• Experience consolidating, validating and cleansing data from a vast range of sources -- from applications and databases to files and Web services.

• Strong experience using Relational & non-relational, NoSQL databases.

• Ability to use Data Integration and ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, MuleSoft, Alteryx).

• A solid understanding of key BI trends and hands-on experience with a variety of analytics process and techniques including measurement of methodologies development and testing - (PowerBI, Tableau, Spark).

• Extensive expertise in relational and dimensional data models. Operational, transactional, and analytical warehouses, including multidimensional analysis and visualization techniques.

• Extensive experience in multidimensional data modeling, such as star schemas, snowflakes, denormalized models, handling "slow-changing: dimensions/attributes.

• Experience with agile software development.

• Experience with Azure cloud technologies such as ADF, Databricks and Synapse.

• Ability to lead a high performing team in driving performance and deliverables. Set the vision, goals and strategies and maintain collaborative relationships across business lines.

• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success with utilizing the following technologies to provide architecture and solutions that include, but are not limited to the following:

o Expertise with Alteryx tool (Alteryx Desginer core)

o Experience with Data Visualization and Business Analytics tools (such as Tableau/ Power BI).

o Experience with data flows, data cleansing, data wrangling, data structuring and data visualization.

o Unit Testing, Continuous Integration & Test Driven Development

o Data Structures,Data modelling,Data Architecture

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $107,000-$160,000*

Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
