CGI Federal is seeking Service Desk Managers for the Defense Media Activity to host service provider Web services for Department of Defense (DoD) organizations. The program provides fast, secure DoD management system to provide information sharing and various web-hosting for various DoD websites.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Oversee Service Desk Operations
• Manage Service Desk Staff Schedules
• Provide Hiring and Performance feedback for Service Desk Staff
• Assist users via phone and field support in a wide range of computer issues
• Includes installing, upgrading and maintaining desktop and portable computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals
• Enters and updates tickets into the automated trouble ticketing system
• Tracks trends and recommends corrective actions
• Ensures compliance with applicable security and property accountability requirements
• Provides minor network cabling installations and modifications as required
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Clearance: Interim/Active Secret
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Baseline Cert: One of the following; Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP
• Requires CE Certification within 6 months of hire: One of the following; HDI Support Center Team Lead, ITIL Foundation, or MCSA: Windows 10
• Troubleshooting experience
• Effective communicator
• Multitasking capabilities
• Familiarity with JIRA
