Position Description:

Trainer/Training Developer – This position will be a part of an initiative team to develop a Certification and Training program for the Advantage group.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Develop training and certification program for internal CGI (and possible client) use. Create different types of training which may include instructor-led, self-guided business training materials or computer-based training for CGI’s Advantage® solution. Develop storyboards for certification exams and eLearning and develop videos for the Advantage software detailing processes for micro training. Review storyboards and Captivate modules for accuracy, compliance with standards, grammar, and clarity. Update existing training materials targeted for implementation by team members and/or existing clients. Analyze training programs to suggest new training programs that will enhance the member/client experience. Participate in development of training curriculum for new and existing internal or client programs. Conduct client and internal user trainings. Assist team manager in marketing training to external and internal clients. Analyze and resolve software issues with the training environment. Full-time telework permitted. Position may require national travel.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of IT experience using ERP solutions.

  • Prior experience should include creating and updating training materials for newly released ERP software and new software functionalities; working with internal staff or clients to develop training materials; and delivering ERP training in person or using remote meeting tools including such as Microsoft Teams.

  • Prior experience using Adobe Captivate to develop computer based training is a plus.

Location is flexible but must live in proximity to a CGI office.

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $75,000-$130,000*

Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
