CGI Federal is seeking Web Software Developers for the Defense Media Activity to host service provider Web services for Department of Defense (DoD) organizations. The program provides fast, secure DoD management system to provide information sharing and various web-hosting for various DoD websites.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Individual selected is responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. Duties include but not limited to:
• Translate application user stories into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Test and support the use of the application
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5+ years of experience in .NET, C#, ASP.NET
• Clearance: Interim/Active Secret
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Baseline Cert: One of the following; Security+CE, CCNA Security; CySA+; GICSP; GSEC; SSCP
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Strong experience with Entity Framework
• Full software development lifecycle experience
• Experience with SQL Server
• A Bachelor’s degree in IT related field is strongly desired.
• Experience with Agile development
• Familiarity with JIRA
