CGI has an exciting opportunity for a Data and Reporting Analyst, responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing operational, financial, and employee data on behalf of the organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help establish best practices and execute operational reporting, help implement standards and deadlines for reporting requirements, internal/external submission of financial and employment data, review submissions and data for completeness, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. This role must be located in Lafayette, LA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Perform all activities to prepare and manage operational, financial, employment, and other organizational reporting materials (for internal and external partner reporting requirements)

• Support and execute activities related to preparing external reporting requirements for operational details related to U.S. Onshore Delivery Center operations.

• Prepare and maintain records, prepare files for all reports, track all grant and incentive activities

• Work with the finance team to ensure month-end accruals are accurate

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for financial-related incentive programs.

• Support internal and external audit requests.

• Other related ad-hoc analyses as necessary.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Excellent communication skills; able to communicate at all levels of the organization, ability to simplify complex items in both verbal and written communication

• 2-5 years of data and or reporting analyst experience with strong knowledge of business operations, finance, and payroll domain areas.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with attention to detail

• Good understanding of operational/financial accounting concepts

• Excellent presentation skills

• Demonstrated experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work with ambiguity

• Creative thinking and ability to seek innovative solutions to complex problems

• High integrity and follow-through

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
